Sometimes entering a secure site the URL bar is red. Is that something dangerous or a new color scheme?
The privacy bar is very quick way to toggle settings but it doesn't work in the latest update. Using Tools>privacy> still works fine but I miss the privacy bar. I presume something needs to be added but what???
RE preferences>plugins>configure KM is my default browser but configure opens in windows explorer. Can't recall having that happening in previous versions.

The url bar's background color is indicating the security state corresponding to the lock icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the window. The normal color (usually white) means no encryption. Yellow means secure encryption. Red means that the encryption of the current page is broken. When you enter information on such a page, it may be sent to the website without encryption.

In km 1.1x, the privacy bar works only with skins that have been updated for 1.1x. The option "Clear All" is inoperable - that's a bug.

Thanks kko for answer. All of the above problems disappeared after I reverted back to phoenity default skin. I was using the gold skin from the previous version. I'll check for the latest skin.
With correct skin, plugins now open properly to show their configuration.
Thanks for explanation of red colour--very useful. I think that too was caused by old version gold skin.
