Load at Startup after installation.

Installation paragraph at http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/TutorialLoader
indicates that the Loader must be selected during installation in order to execute at startup. Otherwise KM must be reinstalled to set.

However, I found that it can be set to execute at Startup by adding to the following Registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Sofftware\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
the String Value
Loader=C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\loader.exe

Or by using a simple Registry editor such as the one provided by the either the Free or Pay versions of Win Patrol

No, you're wrong, since 1.1, Setdefauft, which is used by K-Meleon allows to activate/desactivate the loader without having to reinstall.

Just noticed the Tutorial mentioned it could only be done during installation and just thought I'd pass along that reinstallation wasn't really necessary. New to KM. Sorry if I mis-interpreted.

This tutorial is outdated, Charlie. Since 1.0, the preload levels Faster and Extreme are deactivated (they're not different from Fast). Since 1.1, the loader is installed always. Using SetDefault you can enable/disable it at any time.

Placing a shortcut to loader.exe in your Startup folder is easier and has the advantage that you can easily restart the loader when you closed it.
