There's a new version of the searchbar plugin at the usual place. [1]

The most visible change is that it now has the Firefox-like effect where it shows the search engine name when the textbox is empty. The problem is that the text doesn't immediately update when you change search engines (there's something in K-Meleon CVS that I may be able to use to fix this). Right now there's an "Update" command to force the update.

I tried searchbar(Focus), it's working but searchbar(Update) is not working here...

Right. Looking at the source, I can't figure out why it doesn't work, but I'll fix that as soon as possible.

Fixed in 0.2.1.

Maybe add one more function:

Let the seach plugin remember all(or some limit) search entries and have a drop-down menu to select?
