does anyone know a shortuct that allows you to tab btwen 2 layers [ie, in other browsers, i think you just press alt tab and it takes you to the next one] but in k-mel, i need to use a mouse gesture to see what next layer shows

The answer with K-Meleon is:

Press Ctrl + Tab will take you to the next layer
Press Ctrl + Shift + Tab will take you to the prior layer
