startup homepage

Page Display Settings>> Home Page I set this to Google.
When this page first opens I can't enter anything. keystrokes just don't register anything.
If I click the "refresh" button keystrokes will function.
Something seems to be missing on startup. I tried various homepages with same result.

Did You click/or shortcut the form element?
Then I can write?

Automatically input will "search" letters inside the page and highlite them green.

I'm sorry, I don't know about the form element. Is it a setting?
I can't see anything in preferences or advanced pref's with those words.
Today I opened firefox first thing then closed it. Then I opened K-meleon and no problem. Hope that is a clue.

Sorry about my bad English - click with the mouse into the place of the browser or web page that You want active. Then You can write in the active place if it is made for writing.

If it is not that - I do not know either.

p.s. The place where You write e.g. here is usually a HTML form ( Formular in my native language ) element. It is a place/field for written input.

Yes, I clicked in the "formular" and a blinking cursor is visible but when I enter something nothing happens--the cursor just continues to blink.
I guess this is a mystery of startup loading. Since its easily overcome I'll treat it as a puzzle for solving one day. Many thanks for your feedback.
