OK, I'm back...
Did another search after creating new bookmark, and finally located the one ACTIVE bookmarks.html folder! It was filed under C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\default\ .
Then copied that file over into the K-M profiles, and ENABLED Netscape Bookmark Plug-in. Finally have BOOKMARKS (in addition to HOTLIST) and have created a new bookmark and new folder using THIS version of the Bookmarking function.
Immediately got a QUERY from the system about doing so because it recognized that this was NOT the typical Bookmark file it expected, so told it to save it. It seems it did work. So this is "more or less" almost as good as the Seamonkey bookmarking function, but it's not as simple, straightforward, easy to manage.
But close enough, I guess!
I guess this still means that we'll have two different sets of bookmarks, between the two browsers (SM and KM) and they'll evolve differently, based on when and where we edit as we surf in each respective browser.
Oh well, hopefully it will all work itself out. We'll just be grateful if the crashing/closing of KM stops as we use our bookmarks!
Thanks for your help!
PS Can we just get rid of the HOTLIST and use JUST the BOOKMARKS now? If so, how?
Thanks again.
