Keyword Autosearch V1.1.2

Hello,
Is there a bug in the Keyword Autosearch of V1.1.2....where search results (say, a google list of possible websites fitting the searchbar criteria) will not appear when hitting the "Enter" button on the keyboard?
I notced that the "keyword:" does not appear before the search terms in the URL bar.
Even though I have the Keyword Autosearch preference checked, hitting the "enter" button will only result in a "not a URL" box that appears,
However, Keyword autosearch does work when pressing CTRL G.
Anyway to get the "enter button to do this?
Thanks

I was wondering the same thing. It's because you're using layers, I found a change log here:
http://www.neowin.net/index.php?act=view&id=38782
that said Keyword Autosearch still doesn't work **with layers**.

Actually, the keyword autosearch started working after I turned off layers...
BUT for some reason it is still working after I turned layers back on.
Try disabling layers, restarting K-Meleon, keyword autosearching, then reenable the layers and see if it still works.

Keyword Autosearch doesn't work when the pref 'kmeleon.general.openurl' is set to 'layers(OpenURL)'. So if in Advanced Prefs you have Open Typed URLs set to open in a new layer, keyword autosearch won't work. Works fine when set to open in the current layer "ID_OPEN_LINK" or in a new window 'ID_OPEN_LINK_IN_NEW_WINDOW'. Problem arises in Advanced Prefs if you want to use 'layers only'(Open all windows in layers). If that choice is selected, it prevents you from choosing to Open Typed URLs in a New Window. So you have to go to Edit-Configuration-Browser Configuration(about:config) and change the value of the pref 'kmeleon.general.openurl' to ID_OPEN_LINK_IN_NEW_WINDOW. Seems to be a v1.1 bug. Wasn't the case in v0.9 AFAIK.
