Open URL in new layer from command line?

I use LinkStash http://www.xrayz.co.uk/ as multi-browser bookmark manager. The current version 1.7.3.0 doesn't support K-Meleon directly, so I just appropriated the slot for Mozilla. If I tell LinkStash to open a URL when K-Meleon already has one open, it does so in a new window. Same thing with KeePass, I think. I'd rather K-Meleon opened a new URL in a new layer, like FireFox does, but I don't think K-Meleon has a command-line switch to allow this. Is it in fact possible, please?

Does the problem occur when you have check 'Use Layers Only' in

Advanced Preferences > K-Meleon Plugins > Layers

??

That solves it perfectly! K-Meleon and LinkStash work exactly the way I want now! Many thanks! smiling smiley
