We were browsing along and suddenly the URL-locator bar disappeared, and we cannot find it back.

Anyone have any idea what to do to retrieve it?
We cannot use K-M without it!

OK, we FOUND IT BACK, but how the heck did it get pushed way over to the RIGHT like that, all squished up and practically invisible??????

We can do without such unexpected surprises (i.e., near heart failure)! LOL.

try this:
arrange toolbars as you'd like
then
View > toolbars > select "lock toolbars"

Can someone please explain how to reduce the number of Words in the Toolbars (i.e., how to remove extraneous items that we don't need, such as Sessions, Groups in Top Toolbar, and Passwords, Kill Flash, User Agent in Privacy Toolbar)?

We have vision problems and need to keep clutter to a minimum, so we're trying to remove stuff we don't use often.

Thanks in advance for detailed instructions on how to do this, if it is possible. We clicked View, Toolbars, Options, Enable Customize, but THEN WHAT?

- For quit Sessions in main bar, read this thread for how to quit a menu;

- For quit Groups in main bar, also you can go to 'Advaced Preferences' panel; clicked F2 key or Edit -> Advanced Preferences in menus. Expand K-Meleon Plugins section and select 'Macro Extensions', in this list uncheck 'groups' for unable Groups macro if you don't use it and won't showed 'Groups' entry in toolbar menu.

- For the Privacy Toolbar, you must go to Edit -> Config -> Toolbars menu. In this file search '&Privacy Bar' section and coment (with a '#' character at line begin) button lines that you like quit, in your case;
