Hi. I followed the same procedure with no luck. I noticed _PASSWORD="Ask for passwrod" in Hao's was mispelled as passwrod. Well, I assume it was a typo. So I tried it both ways still with no luck. I even made sure each time that I restarted K-MeleonCCF ME 0.08 Beta 2 making sure that no Loaders or other KM's were running.

As I mentioned in my last post, it really does not cause a problem as Hao made it so easy smiling smiley to change Tabs to "open in default way" with the little button down by the pad lock.

But I'm just wondering if perhaps you also did something in addition to making the change in locals.lua.

Search 'locals.lua' file in 'G:\K-MeleonCCFME0.08Beta2\lua\preferenceGUI\' folder.
Open it and search in file the string '_PASSWORD'.
This line find must be changed to this; (note the double quotes)
_PASSWORD="Ask for passwords"

Greetings.

I followed all the instructions to make passwords work but I do not succeed. Can anyone post the correct locals.lua file, please?

Thx a lot,

Mala Okeh
