One question. How to use this to update portable POCKET K-MELEON 1.1.2 ??
I was thinking of the following steps. Please correct me where needed!

1. Stop pocket k-meleon and create a backup.
2. Copy all dll and xpt in ./components folder.
3. Rename profile.dll (use only original kprofile.dll from portable version)
4. Delete ./components/compreg.dat and xpti.dat
5. Copy all .dll files in the k-meleon root folder.
(question is the new xpcom_core.dll made with version 6 of MS C+ compiler?
If not, is it OK to continue to use the one present in pocket version 1.12?)
6. Edit kmeleon.js (in\defaults\pref to show new version (e.g. 1.1.3)
7. The other files need no update.
8. Restart k-meleon

Any additions/corrections appreciated. Season's greetings all, especially Bruns!

Hm, I'm not sure what it was compiled with. I used latest tinerbox build of seamonkey 1.8pre. It might be VC++ 6... gotta give it a try.

Here is a 7zip'd version of the directory that I use to build the installer from, as well as the copy script (uses cygwin).

I've not had experience with pocket before, but I think it should work like how you explained?
