K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
I frequently (but not always) have trouble entering text into search boxes or email boxes (like this one). The entry will freeze momentarily and then re-start, missing some characters. Other times it will freeze entirely and only closing K-Meleon will let me continue.
When this happens I can open Notepad or IE and enter text successfully while K-Meleon is still open.
I really like this application and this is the only issue I have with it.
Any suggestions?
(I am running Windows XP, SP 2)

It dosen't sound like anyone else has this problem with KM. And I cannot think of any settings in KM or XP that could cause this kind of problem. Perhaps for some reason your particular download or installation of KM is corrupt. Files [do] become corrupt for many reasons, and when we least expect it. Perhaps un-installing KM and then re-installing KM will fix the problem. Perhaps even a new download of KM is in order.
Meanwhile, perhaps a work-around would be to type to your messages in notepad then copy and paste.

I second caktus - try with another, new profile.
p. s. Sometimes installs break - most times not the whole K-Meleon install but an often used profile. The normal wear and tear.
