+ Several lua macros rewritten not using utils plugin anymore.

+ Remove of utils plugin

+ fixes on some bugs on groups and ad-filter

Please can you remind me again how to search google directly from the address bar using ctrl +g without having that search box popping up.
I can do it in previous versions.

Great job, buddy. Light and fast browser.

However, will it ever be possible to call links from the address bar (when there's no page opened) without having a blank and useless layer shown when the browser is configured to open links in the background from there? Can't wait for this being implemented.

Today, i still use K-MeleonCCF ME 0.05.6, it easier to use.

I like thatseries very much as well, but I edit the more recent ME versions to make them easier - for example by revealing the Menu bar by editing pref.js
change

and CCFME0.075

I use ccf and Maxthon and sometimes I like to open a page in K-M
from Maxthon

I'm successfully able to open the official version of k-meleon from internet explorer [maxthon] right click context menu
by following these instructions + see my note at foot of page

but when I try this with CCF versions I get the following errors before the browser will open.

cannot find bookmarks.html
then an option box appears to browse to bookmarks or cancel and after that
cannot open pref\macros.lua no such file or directory
could not find accel.cfg
could not find menus.cfg

Then K-M opens the page o'k but minus some toolbars

Any way around this?

You must checked that all paths to K-M CCFME are corrected in you changes code.

The errors I posted above apply to windows 2000

I have just tried it afresh in xp

and get the following when ccf starts from ie context menu

macros.lua:1: module 'copyaslink' not found
no field package preload('copyaslink')
no file 'lua\copyaslink.lua'
no file 'lua\copyaslink.lc'
no file 'lua\copyaslink.dll'

That all appears in one popup box

Then after I press the O'K button ccf opens normally


ps for some reason I couldn't log in as usual

Thanks for the work you do on CCF. In 0.8 beta 2 I find that if a site tries to open a new window with specific size then the tab that opens in ccf will cause the whole program including all tabs to adopt the new size and stay that way. I go to the bbc.co.uk/worldservice, choose a program to listen to, and then choose a time of the program and the whole of ccf shrinks to the size of the bbc player using realplayer plugin (this is from choosing a specific program and time--not the live radio player) 0.75 does this also unless one changes to tabs and windows (on Tab preferences) and then it works fine. But I can't see where to change 0.8 b1 to tabs and windows. I hope this makes sense, thanks again.
