Greetings to everyone. I beg for forgiveness for making a new thread for this topic.
I could not find the old one. For a long time I have seen many here having troubles
with Favorites and also Bookmarks and Hotlists. The many I refer to are the users
of XP. I am another of those. I finally got the idea to create another user account.
Bookmarks, Favorites and Hotlist worked fine until I copied and pasted the old
Favorites to the new account. Then I have the same old problem. Can anyone think of
a way to locate bad Favorites? A workaround is also good. I use this computer for
many purposes so I actually have thousands of Favorites which I cannot do without.

Perhaps the above name fits better. I did again confirm my problem. I deleted all
Favorites from the user account using FavoritesView. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/faview.html
After doing this the Favorites plugin automatically reactivated.
I just do not know what to use to find what Favorites are corrupted.

You can delete parts of your favorites until you find the culprit.

Favorites with very long characters strings may be cause of the problem.
Export this favorites to a backup folder with FavoritesView and try again.
