Cannot open HTTPS sites

Help,
This is my first time using k-meleon.
After installation I try to open some https page and it doesn't work all of them.
Is there something wrong, because I try two version of installation file and it happens again.
If there's some configuration I must change, please let me know.

If you are behind proxy try:
Edit -> Configuration -> Browser Configuration
network.proxy.ssl=<your proxy>
network.proxy.ssl_port=<your proxy port>

works great with me on a crash recovery CD bootdisk!! Try what the post above (justass) said.
