Hello staff, I wonder if I am authorized to create a forum for support in Brazil, on the variants K-Meleon, viso very success of the site.

And if so, would be for a link here on the official website to the Web site of support in Brazil.

Thank you and I await a response.

K-Meleon is honest GPL freeware - you can authorize Yourself. Do me a favour & leave the copyright of our devs as they are. & You should use no higher version number then them - unless you can develop without them.

It is to the best of all to have cross national links IMHO we will treat pt-BR like ru-RU - provided You treat us as friendly as the ru-RU Forum k-melon users treated us.

the download page can use more languges Our dev team is European. Europe has more than 6 official languages. Several countries here in the EC have more official languages than North America.

5-6 years ago the Germens (i in particular) chose that we continue to use this English Forum (anglis = lingua franca not lingua obligatory) .
I felt a single nation has no chance to answer all questions. 2-3 years ago the Spanish did the same for the same reason. If You look it was desgas2 and me that wanted to stay when some new arrivals suggested to go. Just look how few ppl answer.
It would be good if here we had pt-BR natives to answer. You would have us for the knowledge in return.

. . .Keeping in mind that any language is OK on this forum. Sometimes other forums demand English, but here people are happy to accept various languages, with English as default.

If something is very important, usually there is someone who can translate. I'm not sure if I've seen Portuguese translated on the K-M forum, but I think there are probably a few people here who can do it.

. . .Keeping in mind that it ain't smart of other forums to demand English I would simply go if any here demanded this.

Sure, I agree. One of the really good things about the internet is that it brings people of different languages and cultures together. Certainly it is a privilege, not an encumbrance, to see languages being mixed and matched.

Besides, English is the language of the most aggressively capitalist mindset. When I am in Central America, I delight with struggling along with my very rough Spanish. I have good friends there who speak not a word of English. Why should they? The language of their countries is Spanish. (You'd think a lot of the tourists haven't quite grasped that little detail.)

Here in Vancouver, our economy is run by China. Although Mandarin is much more widespread than Cantonese world-wide, in Vancouver the two are roughly 50:50, as many people here came from Hong Kong. One of the most delightful aspects of Vancouver is being able to very easily (as, without even trying) walk amongst such disparate cultures.

This is a joke! How many threads we have read about brazilian/portuguese translation support (official). :B
As guenter wrote there is a web/comunity with his K-Meleon unofficial version in brazilian.
I see in orkut there are 7 comunitys about K-Meleon, all these in brazilian/portuguese. About 1300 memmbers in total and nobody is capable of performing the official translation. :O

I think that continue talking/posting about brazilian/portugese official translation is a waste of time because they are who don't want to make it official. ¬_¬
