Pour information, Kmeleon est parfaitement utilisable sous linux avec wine.

The 1.0 versions were already satisfactory for a while after being
adapted, and after downloading and using the latest version of wine
it seems that the bug which made the using of the address bar
impossible in the 1.1 versions seems fixed now, for 1.5 too.
But in 1.5 not all the macros work, and while it was already a bit
more complicated to make old macros work in the 1.1 versions, the
1.5 alpha makes it hard to adapt them without breaking the browser
in Linux. I just finished a minimal version of 1.5a with gecko 1.8.1.12
for myself to test it in Linux, and had to make quite a bit of changes
because of the changed macro language. But it is good news, that
wine really is making progress, as well as we can hope for a survival
of K-Meleon when Gecko 1.9 will be the only left supported Mozilla engine,
which will hopefully not be too soon.
