I am trying too get adblock too work in k-meleon but I'm not having much luck, I install the extension as I would with any other but when I look at all my plugins it's red however it has been ticked like any of the other extensions I use. If anyone can help me with this problem it would be much appreciated.

Which is your K-Meleon version and AdblockPlus version. There are some problems beetween versions.

The extension (setup) I made there is some times, is perhaps not adapted to your config.

Here are the size and date for the files in setup:

components:

adblockplus.jar 2007-03-21 146.990 bytes

adblockplus.xpt 2007-03-21 716 bytes

kplugins:

adblockplus.dll 2007-03-21 98.304 bytes

Look at the site of Palant to see if there is something which must be updated.

I haven't had yet made tests with 1.5a2

I used a installer too install adblock but then I went too the site you provided and downloaded the zip package, I then extracted it too the K-meleon folder & it came up with the subscription screen & I have the little adblock logo in the corner now so I'm happy.

Well, my adblock was also red but it is nevertheless working?...

Anyway, I tried the .zip version and it also works. Thanx Alain for the link. Just one little question: Do you know if K-Meleon supports smilies in forums? I can saw them, but when I click on them they won't show in text.

Yes, forums supports it, but the syntax is not obvious to find.

For example, is made with : and )

There is a list of smiley and their syntax, that guenter and desga2 gave me there is some time. you probably find it by searching the word smiley in km forums.
