Best Way Too Close K-Meleon

I have tried k-meleon for some time now but it gets annoying when I'm browsing & it closes automatically, I am thinking that it could be the way I close the browser I would like too know what's the best way too exit the browser when using a single window. Should I just click on close window or exit k-meleon on the file menu when wanting too close the browser.
