I do not have it currently installed but AFAIRemember it was only active when warning or counseled.

p.s. With some extensions You have to download & install the main software separately.

These extensions are K-Meleon adapters for software that are licensed directly to their users (Download managers etc.), is updated too often or that has too many different versions (national dictionaries).

Extensions that make XUL usable may lack icons present in Firefox.

For site advisor, there is no need to install it, because I install jarfile and dll.

But you must consider that it's K-Meleon and not Firefox, and there is no icon in the status bar or in the toolbar.

I have added menus in Tools menu (just before Connection), and in the link contextual menu. I have simulate the maximum of features, but I haven't done it for search pages.

I know it's a lack, but I haven't been able to do this.

Please explain more what is jarfile and dll and if it's a substitute for McAfee site advisor. If it is, how can I get, install and use jarfile? I am new to KM, but I find it great and want to use it instead of IE.

Is there a similar program like site advisor, that is working with KM? Thanks.

A jar file is a single file housing a group of files, much like a zip file. A dll (dymanic link library) is a file which enables verious applications/programs to function in tandom or together.

These may be helpful.
What is a DLL?

JAR (file format)

Vielen Dank Guenter.

Hallo Alain,

hope you have/had a nice vacation (Guenter had told me).
I'm using your SiteAdvisor Macro, very useful for me.
Could you update that program with a symbol/icon/botton for the menu entry "View Site Details", so I don't have to go to Tools > Site Advisor? That would be great!
I know about the link contextual menu. Thank you.

@alain, hope all in the vagances is as bright as on the picture smiling smiley

Juergen my idea for a first "View Site Details" button,
alain can probably doe it better smiling smiley
You look/find which macro, use some unused bmp, make it native, You use a new German text in bar for mouse, or a translated string from the respective .kml):

# this goes into used skin

# Next We start/call plugin macros
%ifplugin macros

# Next Start of the Bar
This Bar{
# Next Start of the button
This Button{
# Next Insert name of This macro from .kmm
macros(This macro)
# Next the Text for This Macro button on Mouse Over from .kml
# ( if defined it is translated else English default )
&View Site Details
# Next the name of a new or unused picture / 0= they start to count from Zero
This.bmp[0]
# Next must come the 3 items that close everything that we have openend
}
}
%endif

The most common fault when You start working with skins is that You forget to close all opened items :mad: Forgetting to do this breaks the skin and prevents that K-Meleon starts tongue sticking out smiley

# Now comes the .kml = LANGUAGE DEFINITION FILE - Your make complete =Your native
#string - then it is saved locale as SiteAdvisor.kml, here for You/Juergen
# into de-DE locale - also= kompletieren und als SiteAdvisor.kml im
# locale de-DE speichern
