I upgraded to a new computer and the latest version of K-Meleon.

I used to have it set up to "find words" as I type.

Now K-Meleon is trying to "find links" as I type

There must be a setting to change this so it finds the word as I type not a link but I can't figure out where it is.

Anyone help me on this?

Please try this, from the menu: Edit -> Page Search -> Search Links Only

Above should NOT have a check mark ( uncheck it )

This should allow the 'search' to be performed on text, rather than only on links.

Ok, type in the url bar

about:config

search for the key

accessibility.typeaheadfind.linksonly

and change its value to false.

It's the same as explained above by sliderule.

That was it as soon as I unchecked it, it now searches for text not links. That is a great feature, perhaps it could be a bit more obvious though, cause it is a very useful feature.
