Look under HELP - ABOUT PLUGINS to see if the player is installed in K-Meleon.

K-Meleon perfectly works with Flash Player with no problems.

You can download latest version here.

You can test your installation of Flash Player in your K-meleon web browser by going to this Adobe site:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/

If the Flash Player picture shows up on that page, then Flash Player is working on your K-meleon browser.

K-Meleon and Adobe Flash Player work well together, but be sure to educate yourselves about the SECRET, HIDDEN, UNDERHANDED, SURREPTITIOUS COOKIES that Adobe/Macromedia are planting on your hard drive (not in your cookies directory)!

These are not your typical cookies; they are called "shared local objects" and they are more "dangerous" than typical cookies--much LONGER, for one thing, and they can be accessed across domains; and because you don't even know about them, you cannot erase them or opt out of them.

Do a search for *.sol (interesting choice of file-extension!!, as most of us know what SOL stands for!!) on your machine, and good luck with getting rid of them. You can delete them manually or use MAXA Cookie Manager (paid version) to get rid of them. However, you might not be able to use websites that plant those secret cookies, once you get rid of them. For example, YOUTUBE.COM won't let you log in or post comments about videos without the cookies they put on your machine.

Good luck!
