How do get my bookmarks from mozilla firefox to k-meleon bookmarks?
Copy bookmarks.html to Your K-Meleon Profile or choose configure in the Bookmarks.plugin menu (in Preferences Panel) and direct it to the Netscape/Firefox/Mozilla Profile directory which is adjacent to K-Meleon's default Profiles directory.
I would choose the first solution since bookmarks.plugins may (older ones do not) not support FFox icons format inside bookmarks.html. The FFox icons might be not save. AFAIK with recent version of the plugin icon support was added but I might be wrong
p.s. I use a different solution. I use IE favorites (natively supported by K-Meleon's Favorites plugin ) to share bookmarks between different browser and K-Meleon versions. IE (which is installed by default on every Windows) has an import favorites function (in WinME's IE5 at Files>Export Import) that can handle Netscape bookmarks and that can be used to synchronize.
