Anyone have any information on these 2 web browsers? Are they one in the same? Are
they KM derivatives? Where can I download? Any knowledge much appreciated.

KMLite (browser name)= Kronos (project name for first version (1.0) of KMLite)

KMLite is the successor of K-Ninja browser (a K-Meleon mod by Al) now based on K-Meleon 1.5RC sources (SeaMonkey v1.1.11 / Gecko v1.8.1.17).

You can download it if you subscribe to The True Underground (Google Group).

NOTE: KMLite is a unofficial version of K-Meleon and this isn't supported by K-Meleon Team (and this forums). If you have problems with KMLite you must reported it to Al in The True Underground (Google Group).

Mr. Desga2, the link at the name K-Ninja does not work. Do you have another? I ask
because of how useless the other link is for The True Underground. Several of my
friends have tried to join that group since last year and have never received a
reply. All we really want to do is download the browser. It was available here
at http://www.mediafire.com/. Apparently has been removed. Perhaps someone who has
it could upload to anywhere such as RapidShare? winking smiley

K-Ninja was started by some guy named Mark... not Al.

As for KMlite.. I think its a stupid of them to require registration to download.

I don't think that this has ever been disputed, in fact I've mentioned numerous times that Mark Reaves was/is the original creator of the K-Ninja concept. He stopped developing it at a stage a few years back & I simply picked it up and took it further.

The K-Ninja Archives has a Nostalgia section which honours Mark.

KMLite is simply a part-time K-Meleon spinoff which I do as a private release. There's too many politics involved in releasing it publicy which is why you have to join up with the True Underground. No private information is divulged, and no ordinary member can access the Members list anyhow. It's all confidential.

But like I say it's only a part-time project. If you don't want to use it then nobody is forcing you,

Al.

@nipsy-narf,

Your post is temporarily approved. As You see with the incident with that Robware browser that infringed K-Meleon copyright - PPL have chosen to take action.

Did Al change his policy and left the relevant sections of K-Meleon credits & copyright unchanged? If so yes - else alain and other may ask me and or another moderators for the removal of this post and other references & download links.

Thx for Your understanding.
