The icon shown by tab field reflect the site's favicon since K-Meleon 1.5.0.

But this only works for sites that have a favicon

Example code <link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="../../favicon.ico" />

All that do not have a favicon show the same default icon instead.

If, perchance, the favicon is not showing up in the tab, type about: config into the url bar, then type favicon in the the search bar and change the value of browser.chrome.favicons to true.

Thank you very much gentlemen...I now have a full compliment of favicons appearing in my tab bar. :>)

Thx Terry - I truly did not remember that I had to change any settings

Guess some things become "habbitual to does" after a new install else are in the Profiles anyway or had a different default in my national version.
