What will I only have to do though I want to use the editor which I myself chose freely in the K-meleon? Teach me please.

Preferences > activate 3 row from top - at the bottom of that field
"View with an external Source Code Viewer" and guide it to Your program.

That is what I translated to Englisgh from my German K-Meleon.

There is not that item on K-Meleon1.5.1.(;_
I used this editor

I installed Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.8.1.17) Gecko/20080919 K-Meleon/1.5.1 under Windows ME. I found the item under.

Edit > Prefernces > Page Display > Source Code (at the location where I described)

> Use External Source Code Viewer (check the cross that activates the File Chooser)
> Browse (now browse the way to Your editor.exe).

(I could not experiment with Your Editor of Choise - it is for XP /Vista)


p.s. Maybe try to tanslate some items to Your language?
I also find it hard to use the en-US version instead my native K-Meleon1.5.1.de-De.
