When i start K-Meleon (with a blank page!) and press "Strg" + "U" (or "View" - "Source Code") K-Meleon connects to 212.69.172.113 and I see the source code from adomino.com
Why? Could someone explain it? There should be no source code, because the tab is empty. It happans on 2 different systems...

I see what you mean. I tried with 1.5.2 beta and opened a new tab. Then I did WIEW - SOURCE CODE. Was slow to put anything to the tab, but then I got www.about.com from 207.126.123,20
I do not know why except that the tab's URL bar had "about:blank". Maybe there was a default to search for "about" after some time limit. I do have Domain Autocompletion enabled. I think that puts a www before and a com after the value in the URL bar and attempts to load that.

Though the title bar says about:blank, (for some reason I don't recall) the about:blank still requires some HTML. I ran across this subject while searching for ways to speed the opening of IE. I think it may have had something to do with the about:blank page actually being a Home Page.
In order to prevent any HTML on a blank IE page (speeding the opening of IE),
" -nohome" (w/o the quotes) must be added to the end of the Target string changing
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"
to
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nohome
NOTE the space between:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"
and
-nohome
This does not work with KM 1.5.1, and as far as I know it only works with IE browsers. But luckily the powers that be provided us with Loader.exe to speed the opening of KM.
I assume some of the HTML may be caused by Loader.exe.

Most IP are dynamic they belong to the providers not individuals and are allocated at random to You while You are online. It does not matter if I quote it. I altered it just in case You pay for the luxury of a static IP (which should be quoted public).

Blank window or tab has HTML including URL's http://www.w3.org, http://w.about.com, http://www.icra.org, http://www.rsac.org and some associated sub URL's.
It seems that for the most part the html is simply related to window/tab functions, deminsions, padding and such. Why the URL's and their associates in the source code of blank window/tab, I have no idea. But I am sure they are included for necessary reason. It would be nice if one of the KM Pro's would weigh-in and explain it to us so the matter could RIP. :s

This problem not happend in 1.1.X versions.
When I open a new tab or type about:blank, if I select View Source of the blank page this show only this code:
In 1.5.X versions, when i do the same test, the source window opened show http://www.about.com/ web page source.
This happend due to a bug with about:blank page load.
To check this isn't spyware or malware redirections go to Preferences (F2) -> Browsing -> Finding Websites, "Domain Autocompletion".
If you uncheck "When a typed URL failed to load, autocomplete and retry" and now you triy to View Source in about:blank page this show an "Address Not Found" net error.

just refer the about:blank page in usercontent.css. should end the autocomplete problem
Unless a poster is trolling or flaming, I don't see the need to show IP whether altered or actual. IMHO Showing IP is one reason people use anonymizers.
Original Forum always showed IP - I do not see anything wrong with it.
IP contains country = understanding easier.
