You can't change tab and tab title color. This feature isn't implemented yet.

thank you for the reply. my problem is that i can't distinguish easily the active tab from the inactive tabs (on my machine, they are all white).

i just remembered how i did it before: i was able to add asterisks to the text on the active tab. but i've forgotten how to do this. do you know?

I can see the active tab with ease. Check on this in EDIT - PREFERENCES - GUI APPEARANCE. Look to see if "Display Toolbar Background" is checked. I have it checked and I can see that the active tab is white while all the other tabs have the background color. I am using KM 1.5.2 RC on XP -SP3. I am using the Klassic skin with a light yellow background instead of the default grey.

sorry, i should have been clearer. i actually like everything all white like this. i just want the active tab to be distinguished somehow, e.g., by adding asterisks, by making the text bold, etc.

also, is there a way to make the tab flat and not pressed?

edit: desga2, i just saw in the other thread that you said that the option to mark the active layer, which was in previous versions of k-meleon, is not in 1.5. i guess i'll just have to wait until it gets implemented.

Please read this post by me in the thread that I indicated in before post.

This old functionality is lost in the change from layer (1.1.X) to tabs (1.5.X).
This feature needed be implemented again, and isn't yet.

Old preference in 1.1.X (when we used old layers): Documentation in User's Guide

kmeleon.plugins.layers.style

    Type: Integer
    Default: 2

    This preference controls the style of the layers bar buttons. The style is a combination (sum) of one or more of:

    1	gray
    2	pressed
    4	non-flat
    8	*bold*

New preference in 1.5.X not work:
kmeleon.tabs.style
