The forum has changed some. We have BBcode help and Smileys help but my toolbar is gone. Why?

Macros work here without problem, they should not be them but who knows for sure?

You were right. I have started a new profile and my toolbar for this post is back. I still don't understand what I might have done to cause the change in the old profile.

this happens when javascript gets disabled.. i tested it, disabled javascript and forum lost the toolbar too.. you must have unwittingly clicked the block javascript keyshortcut .. or.. possessed k-meleon syndrome

I think the block javacript is right. I had been working on this thread http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?4,88005 and may have left the block on for javascript.

We all have to start new profiles sometimes. PPL like You and me sometimes do new untested things.

BTW. Yesterday I messed up my K-Meleon banking & Yahoo mail profile =

& I could not find out what destroyed the RSS Readers chrome.

Actually nothing is really broken - but only new profiles can use the RSS.
While I can use the Roboform and bookmarks, passwords and all in the old profiles>-(
