Only moderators have a button option to attached files to post.
Send your file to guenter to he can upload, or upload to other web server and post the link.

If your file is a text file you can created a wiki page in K-Meleon wiki and paste in it.

Also you can send me it by mail and i can upload to my web server and post here the link to download.

i signed up account at holaservers for everybody
address:
http://kmeleon.holaservers.com

limitations: 100mb space, max ftp transfer: 500kb?
so it's great for small tools, macros, snapshots etc

great program to send files is sendtoftp:
http://www.snapfiles.com/download/dlsendtoftp.html

install and right click on anyfile select send to from menu>send to ftp

best if every user creates new directory with their name to avoid confusion/overwriting files with same names etc
e.g. my folder: http://kmeleon.holaservers.com/disrupted

details for holaservers ftp account:
host: ftp.holaservers.com
username: anonymous2@freeuk.com

kmeleon users can also be referred to as kmusers

One of the nice things on the Opera forums is that each user has the option of storing up to 1 GB of "personal" files on your own MyOpera Community page, so if you have an image, script, or whatever that you wnat to link to in a forum post, it is easily available to others in the Opera forum.

I think it can also be linked to from outside the Opera community, but I think I recall something about that being "against the rules" and subject to censure. I guess it isn't really supposed to be for general internet usage like ImageShack or www.datafilehost.com, although I've run across it being used that way a couple times.

But it works really nicely within the Opera forums, and is very easy for the user to maintain (add, delete, update, etc.).

I had actually been thinking of suggesting something like that for the KM forum users, and this post reminded me of it. To keep the server overhead down, maybe it would only be accessible to registered KM forum users or something like that.

Has anything like this ever been considered?
