Hi,

In the picture called zoomcold.bmp, )))IN KLASSIC THEME((( i've try to remove some unwanted grey points
around my "- zoom", (it's good looking when your theme is in white, but not really in black)* they have been removed, but not all, unfortunately i've got one pink and one grey pixel. Why?? If someone knows the problemthe point in grey on the capture is in fluo pink...DAMN

*If you don't understand i've a post on 'improvement &...' you can see what it was.

I think can solved your icon problem.

Not really, now it's a perfect barbie color:

The pink must be RGB 255,0,255 that is html #FFOOFF to be invisible magic pink.
Any other pink is pink and is not magic pink. It happens to almost all when they create their first icons.

To be ussable by all resolutions, its value must be set when the PC is at 32 bit resolution.

That is that aditional trap into which I fell using 16 bit while making them.
So it was magic only at 16 bit or lower

p.s. one pink one grey pixel is quite good.
Paint each to the value above. No shading. Else it is not magic.

16 colors with the program paint, yes it work.

Paint program color lower. AFAIK between 256 and 16 but can be wrong.

For some reason to save image the background magent color transparency by K-Meleon (RGB=255,0,255) was saved like RGB=254,0,254.

Is possible this happend when change depth color palette from 16 to 32 bits or inverse as guenter said.

No really, i'm fine with 16 colors: it's working.

Was wrong - can be many million colors. The lowest I found was 16 in mini by rmn.

Less colors have smaller files.

yep.. i heard pink is back this winter

this is linked to the main.ico in your skins folder..however it changes according to the site's favicon(i'm afraid you can't change kmeleon's site dirty face ) if you go to another site..like google.com etc, you'll notice the favicon will change.

you can however disable displaying favicons altogether in the url bar:
open preferences>gui appearance>general> uncheck display website icons

I use default: my favorite (by skin) - if existant I use the site's favicon.
