To all,

May I know how to block the FLASH thingy in K-Meleon?

In Firefox there's an add-on call "Flashblock" that I can install and Firefox won't see those FLASH thing again.

Can I install the same thing with K-Meleon?

Has anyone tried that before?

My question above is about using K-Meleon in a link-exchange, as at http://www.idarionis.com:9500/

If I use Firefox, I would have the "Flashblock" and "Snaplink" add-ons loaded, then proceed to the site.

However, in K-Meleon, I just can't find the way to do it.

Can anyone help, please?

If you have last K-Meleon version 1.5.2 you need first fix a little problem in his embed.jar file. To fix it replace your K-Meleon\chrome\embed.jar file for this other:
Download embed.jar file updated to Flashblock work.

Next go to K-Meleon Preferences -> Page Display (section) -> Content Filters (subsection), and check "Enable Flashblock" option.
Remember you need JavaScript enable to Flashblock work.

I Got Work. thx.

I downloaded the updated embed.jar file and replaced the K-Meleon\chrome\embed.jar file.

Now when I go to go to K-Meleon Preferences I get the following error message:

XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: chrome://kmprefs/content/pref.xul
Line Number 1, Column 1:= {
^

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Download again from link in above post. (You have a bad file)

chrome://kmprefs/content/pref.xul file isn't changed in my file embed.jar must work fine.
