I have been using your ccf version for a long time, but recently i found a big problem when i use your 0.08 and 0.09 series. Many photos or icons cannot load very well on my pc and other pcs in my office even with good net speed, it happens when i surf many sites not only one. But, when i use the IE, official KM or firefox, it will be quite ok. My system is xp3, cpu 3.06hz, ram 512MB
Is it a system probem or something ese because of my old pc?

I would like to help you with that. However I need a lit more information about in which website and which version you are using casued these problems? And it's better you can have some screenshot to let me know what do you mean 'icons cannot load very well'. Thanks.

i am using the 0.09final, in fact, it seems that different versions of ccfs do not have too much difference about this prolbem on my pc.

it just like my pc lack of power to open some of the photos, sometimes, somepages of the website cannot be loaded, status bar says reading the sites, but it just stop there and never go on, even i force reload it again and agian.

There is no need to say 'sorry' here in this forum. We 're all learning together.

It really seems weird to me why km cannot load images correctly on your machine. And I just tried the same webpage as your screenshot is and the page loads OK for me. What's the setting for your memory cache/disk cache? (I can't recall anything else could casue this problem for now tho.)

seems fine.

As I recall, 0.09 Final was using a special docshell.dll to have special backward/forward loading. Have you tried the latest 0.094CN version to see whether it has the same problem?

yes, from 088 to 0.094CN,when the page cannot be loaded with ccf , ietab worked fine of the same page and at the same time.

i'm really puzzled about this, i didn't notice it before.

Have you noticed this in 0.085 also?

It could be related with default prefs I think. Try to change settings in defaults\prefs\kmeleon.js

What I could think about in the prefs you can change are:

You can even just deleted these prefs to see what it will happen

i have done it, nothing special happens,problem is still there.

no clue at this moment

i don't have 0.085 at the moment, but i use the 0.08cn, it is very fine even the ads show very well.

does the non-xul adblock leads to the problem?

You can try to remove it by removing the nsadblockplus.js in components folder

adblock is ok.

when i copy the the profils folder of 0.088(have problem) into 0.08cn(no problem) to overwrite it, then start the 0.08cn, same problem happened to the 0.08cn, and if remove it, use the oringal profiles of 0.08cn, problem just gone.

yes you are quite right, but it is not the file in defaults\prefs\kmeleon.js, it comes from prefs.js file in my personal profiles folder, when i transfer it into 0.088cn, photos are ok now, but ad showed up without adblock. i have uploaded that prefs.js above, you can see to it

Cause 0.09x is Gecko 1.9x based, several prefs from Gecko 1.8x based km won't work here I think.

it seems that KIS 2009 contradict with km , i changed the antivirus software, and the problem resolved instantly .
