I have this folder on my desktop and do not recall how it got there. Might it be something important?

looks like you've unwittingly downloaded piwik.. it's part of sourceforge's analytics server thing.. probably downloaded when trying to download some kmeleon file.

The folder is called "KM General files." I went ahead and deleted it and so far so good.
