Any ideas how you can get destop search (Google, Copernic etc) retrieval of K-meleon history/page cache. Have managed to get some retrieval by using a batch file to copy K-meleon history to Firefox history (which destop spider know about), and then indexing that. But limitations are:

- little more than URL indexed, not retrieved pages. (With ie you can direct the spider at the page cache which is a diretory full of full HTML & other files)
- I lose firefox history (not that I use FF very often)

Any thoughts?

Indeed, an extended history function for K-meleon, like Firefox 3 has it, would be very nice!

We have a viewer for cache. See here http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,81596,81622

For viewing the cache (I do it very rarely) I'm using XnView which determines the file type by reading the header of the files.
Why XnView?
- Because I use it anyway as my image viewer.
- I can view with it the cache of other browsers (like Opera) as well.
