Hi! I had one hell of problem with k-meleon1.5.2 because it crashed with javascript.
But when i downloaded javara the crashing problem solved it self when i could uninstall old version of javascript. You can download it here: http://raproducts.org/
It fixes the problem with all the strange crashes in several browsers.

this is for java runtime not javascript..javascript is embedded deep inside the browser..maybe you meant crashes with java applets, then you're right this can fix it
you see the problem with sun microsystems is when you "update" java jre from a build to a different build..they leave a lot of remnant files from the previous installation and over time and lot of updates, thing accumulate and causes problems
