How do you make flashhblock work again after updating to this newer version of K-Meleon? What happened to flashblock being included in the download? It always had been since version .09, or something like that.

K-Meleon 1.5.3 included Flashblock 1.5.10 and must be work fine (no more updated is needed).

there is a bug with 1.5.3, K-Meleon does not create the file flashblock.jar

OK, so which is it?

It was included and is working fine or there's a bug and it doesn't? It's not working fine on 2 of my machines currently.

Just found that you can uninstall 1.5.2 and keep files, then install 1.5.3 in same folder, as explained below from this link, http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,92083, and flasblock still works. Now Adblockplus is gone though!! Hopefully simply looking that up will do the trick. About to find out. Will edit post in a minute.

Reininstalling Adblockplus from here, http://adblockplus.org/en/kmeleon, did the trick. I hope that's the latest version for K-Meleon anyway?

This isn't a bug, in all K-Meleon versions, excepted 1.5.2 with Flashblock fixed, Flashblock is included in embed.jar file. In 1.5.2 version Dorian fixed a Flashblock problem with an external flashblock.jar file but I made a similar fixed to this problem in an corrected embed.jar file. Now, everything returns to normal in 1.5.3.

Okay. I installed 1.5.3 over 1.5.2 and now flashblock works, but only sometimes. How can I fix this?

Does flashblock fail on the same page each time or random? Can you post here the URLs of pages that fail.

I'll work up a list. So far, pages from espn.com and youtube - does not work.
dailykos.com - works as is supposed to.

I remember this being a problem with the last version of K-Meleon, I would have assumed it had been fixed in this one. I'd rather avoid reinstalling the latest version as when I installed it I lost all my personal settings and it took ages to get them back -- don't want to go through that again. Isn't there anything else I can do to get Flashblock to work?
