How to disable autoreload on reuters.coms webpage

hi k-meleon community

you have a fantastic browers. i hope you guys go far !

anyway, im trying to stop this silly reuters.com news pages from auto-reloading when i leave them alone. is there some way to disable the ability of websitees to order an autoreload in k-meleon?

Maybe they are using javascript to call the reload. Try going to their page with javascript turned off. Look under TOOLS - PRIVACY to block javascript. If that works, there is a policy mgr system that can make it automatic. Please report back on whether javascript on/off works.

using the policies manager extension, you can either create a new policy or edit an existing policy and add reuters.com to it..them edit advanced settings for this policy>javascript settings and uncheck page reloading:
