hi
I'm trying out kmeleon and i find gizmodo pages (gizmodo is a popular IT website) take gaes to load in kmeleon and after a while just locks up. I cannot scroll the page.
Anyone else havingthe same problem?

Just caught your post it's 03:41hrs UK. Just off to bed!
But just want to let you know the site loads OK for me, a comment on Canon workers with a picture of employees.
I'm using K-Meleon 1.5.0 with XP SP3
I'm sure Desga2 and guenter will advise you later, their both in Europe so have different time zones too.

Gizmo is a very weight web site, take a lot of time to load because use a lot of JavaScript (and very bad programed by the web admin or web developer/designer) this is not only in K-Meleon also is in Firefox 2 and IE 6.
When load this page browsers full CPU to 100%.
I recommended you that block JavaScript (F7) or Tools -> Privacy -> Block JavaScript, you can use the Privacy bar (View -> Toolbars -> Privacy bar) to look easily if JavaScript is blocked.
Bloock JavaScript only take effect to comments about the news, comments isn't loaded.
If you like read or write comments enable JavaScript, reload web page, and go to a coffe.

actually, i found that my browser is already set to Block Java under Tools. Yet gizmodo still loads slow.
Thanks for the heads up on the site also loading badly under IE and FF.
I also thin its a pretty crappily coded website.
I love KMeleon !!
ill keep trying various combos
if i block both... will it make that huge an impact? i usually just browse newspaper pages and also digg and reddit...
(im trying it)
