To easily change the font size on the screen (Thanks to someone else here at the forums)
Go to Edit > Configuration > Macros then copy and paste into Notepad:
setfontsize{
$fontsize=getpref(INT,"font.minimum-size.x-western");
$fontsize=prompt("Enter the minimum size of font","minimum font size",$fontsize);
setpref(INT,"font.minimum-size.x-western",$fontsize);
}
Save with the File name:
setfontsize.kmm
and
Save As Type: All files
Then go to Edit > Configuration > Accelerators
accel.cfg will open.
At the bottom copy and paste:
ALT Y = macros(setfontsize)
Then close and save.
Restart the browser.
The shortcut ALT+Y should now open a prompt where
you can enter the desired fint size.
Thanks….that was awesome caktus……..you are a genius……..know all about KM……..your reply is in depth, concise for a new person using KM.
1. I copied the Macros command in the general macros folder is that ok?
2. Alt + Y……..I kept font size at 16………..woh looks nice…..all the fonts have enlarged now………its Arial……….on the F2 > Page display > its 18/16/16 pixels………Serif & rest all Arial………16 is large even for an old newbie like me……….so I changed to 14………what size & fonts do you use....all of the Yahoo main page changes now?
3. Should one always create a profile besides the default & mark check on start up?
4. Where & how do I add the IE favorites macros?
Regards,
Doc.
