I have 2 questions:

1. What’s the difference between Preload & Extreme………I mean in terms of system utilization like CPU etc…..my default page is blank…………what functions can extreme settings of autoloader affect?

2. You can see I have checked all plug-ins to clear at shut down……does that mean exit of KM or shut down of my machine?

Preload levels Fast, Faster and Extreme do all the same - they just preload the browser engine. Faster and Extreme originally did more, but that was a constant source of trouble (crashes) and was removed a couple of years ago.

When you exit KM. If you are using the loader: When you exit the loader.

When you exit KM. If you are using the loader: When you exit the loader.

Yes I am using the autoloader........than is a super exit is good enpugh.....or do I have to manually shut & restart autoloader?

Right click and shut the loader down should work, if You need it cleared out of time. Else Windows terminates processes when the machine shuts down.

BTW. There is "clear all now" function in a submenu of Tools.
There is also a button for for "Clear All" on Privacy Bar.
Privacy Bar can be activated/made visible via View > Tool Bars.

Some Buttons on Privacy Bar are commented out.
It is defined toolbars.cfg of used skin.

If You want it more selective remove the "#" before the lines.

Yes, users can edit e.g. even rearange the buttons with a simple text editor.

But they do it after a backup. 1 mistake in an active skin and You may wonder why K-Meleon does not start

when you're using super exit, just select exit super or restart super..both commands will terminate the loader.exe and relaunch it back so any settings you have changed will come into effect. restart super will also relaunch kmeleon browser..so you needn't worry about closing and opening the loader any more. the recommended setting for loader is to load the engine only, this setting works better with super exit so the browser window isn't opened when you select exit super.

For answers we normaly assume that both PPL change/use to en-US (English) menues.
(that works even if a German answers to a French question // International Forum!).

Now: Top - 3rd menue item from left.

View

If browser is not broken it will show some items.

That is what I mean with: View > ...

ROFL - MINE IS BROKEN - ELSE I'D MADE A SCREENSHOT.

p.s. I grafted mine to another PC - theory is that any profile is fully portable.
