I thought k-meleon had died smiling smiley

Anyway, beginning to be a usable browser now - well done. Script errors would be nice though smiling smiley

btw, wtf does this "mostrecent" command line parameter do exactly?

Thanks
Tom

it will select the last profile you used. ie, the most recent profile
so you can do this;
kmeleon -P default
kmeleon -P BinaryC
kmeleon -P mostrecent

of course this means you can't have a profile named 'mostrecent' winking smiley

My first time here... trying to find a feasible alternative to netscape and IE. I was looking at Opera, but your browser made me feel better for some reason winking smiley

Due to circumstances beyond my control I'm stuck behind a socks proxy, I'm still downloading the program ( 28.8kbps, so it takes 30m hehe ), but I figured I'd ask if there was socks support?

Po,

Do you mean "Do Not Load Images" under Image Loading which is here:

Edit - Preferences - Advanced

I don't think Jeff could remember everything that has been fixed since 0.4!

yep... and it works in this one, too!

not to be picky, but, uh... is there a way to display placeholders?

everything else is delightful, so far... i like the new throbber, too.

Po,

Make sure to file a request for that in the Improvements forum. That way, it doesn't get lost in the thread. Plus, that helps the developers see what people want and others can voice their support if they are interested.

ok, i did.

seems like an obvious thing, but hey, different things are important to different people, i guess.

by the way, andrew, it's REALLY nice to have some documentation available... that's as important as any other aspect of a good program. nice work; keep going!

Po,

Thanks for the kind words. I'm one of those people who actually reads the Release Notes... well, after everything is all screwed up, but I do read them.
smiling smiley

I have a lot of other docs planned and some I need to move over from my own site so keep your eyes open for those.
