Browser configuration file help

Ok being the clever guy that I am, I tried to change a setting in the browser config. file and mistyped it. Now I can figure out how to delete it.
Does it matter as long as it has no value? Or is there a way to delete the entry.
I looked for the file in Wexplorer for a short time but I think it is in a file type that I can open.

It does not matter.

It does only matter if a correct (= known/existing) pref has a
a correct (= known/existing) value. Empty (or wrong spelled) prefs or values are not used.

p.s the misspelled pref is AFAIK stored in prefs.js in used profile.

Your wrong config is just another among many that are not applicable.
Type e.g. "mail" into search - mail prefs are defined but K-Meleon does not use them.

Great news Geunter,
Well at least for me. I got into the js file and removed it. Well actually 2 of them.
Then put it in correctly.
I hate it when I do sloppy things. Even if it doesnt make a difference.
Thanks for the help.
