K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
Hello, everybody. . . .
Due to a power interruption in our place, my computer shut down. I was surfing the internet using the K-Meleon 1.5.3 Browser when it happened. When power came back on, I went back to what I was doing but I noticed that the bookmark function had disappeared, and up to the present I could not find nor use it.
Any ideas on what caused the disappearance? I would like some assistance please.

After the power failure a scan disk run? It mangled something.
F2 > Preferences > Bookmarks > make sure the bookmarks pluging is activated.
Needs restart.
If You are missing the old bookmarks.html file (bookmarks gone?)?
Menu: Edit > Konfiguration > Profile Directory.
Open Bookmarks_backup.html as html file in browser.
If it is the lost bookmarks rename to bookmarks.html.
If not the right bookmarks?
Go up one level and look - there will be another Profile.
Look into it and open bookmarks.html with the browser.
If this contains the right bookmarks?
Go to Profiles.ini and alter to Path=Name-of-the-profile-that-contains-the-right-bookmarks
If none applicable do a better report what is wrong!
