What you wish and how fast devs can make a new version, is not the same thing, you know.

Ever since 01.04.2005 users updated what they could maintain when devs had no time.

The project is a hobby done in free time.
K-Meleon's devs have a job etc. and did what they can.

You did grab desga2's unofficial updater, yes?

As for a new version, that means Gecko 1.9.xxx and lots of changes because of Mozilla's changeover (right or wrong) to the SQLite database.
