No close window 'X' on tabs in KM

Firefox has a handy feature, a X on each tab so you can click and close each icon.
How do you do this rapidly in KM other than Ctrl+F4?

If still problems:

But why do You want to do it like the Foxel does :s

I do not miss the x.button.

since I use K-Meleon before Firefox project started.

I simply double click into the tab field to close this tab.
I simple double click into the tab bar where no tab is to create a new tab.

& Right click on any place on the K-Meleon tab bar gives me a context menu to chose smiling smiley

IMHO it is not documented better because after a while PPL do not miss it. smiling smiley

And for closing active tab use mouse gesture (right click - move down and right).

p.s. yap, really have a look at F2 > Mouse Gestures
and maybe Tools > Mouse Accelerators where You can set default gestures like Firefox 2

A out off the box K-Meleon can be set to many favorite settings smiling smiley

I can understand it, the cross is just absolutely intuitive, especially for newbies. No learning curve, no riddling and searching around (as shown by all the inquiries), so why not... smiling smiley

Absolut, I agree - but that's why we all volunteered info smiling smiley

p.s. Reminds me: Maybe also handy and intuitive when I heard it once - right click menu is context sensitive - try right-click on the item of interest - if You miss an option.

Here it was right click on the tab bar grinning smiley
