Any chance of availability on open source platform

Hi
Is there any chance I can compile/run/test this open source browser on an open source platform. Or ill have to get a closed source legacy OS like windows.

Remeber window$ come with IE and no window$ user needs anything more than that.

Sure Windows includes M$IE and you don't really need any more than that, but most Linux distro's include Lynx, don't they? Linux users don't need anything more than that, but many prefer something better. It's the same case with us Windows users.
