Maximum execution time for Makro
Posted by: Hans

Hi, I wrote a makro to open a list of links and print them. As I would like to print them to pdf, I need to type in a filename. After a certain period of time, the Makro terminates automatically.

Where can I set the maximum execution time for a makro to a longer period? Anyone an idea?

Thanks for you help,
Hans

@ Hans

At what point in your macro does it stop processing? Is it during the opening the links, getting the filenames, or printing to PDF?

Hanlon’s razor is an eponymous adage named after Robert J. Hanlon that states: “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”

No idea. Go to about:config and write time into filter.
That gives You some candidates to try.
Look into error console also. That may yield info.

p.s. about:config > Eingabe in Filter eingeben "time".

Die Kandidaten zum Versuchen.

dom.max_chrome_script_run_time

vermutl. eher:
dom.max_script_run_time

Guck auch in die Fehlerkonsole, das könnte was einbringen.

Hi, thanks for your help so far.

The error console is empty, the makro just stops. 4 documents are printed fine, then the makro just terminates. The about:config times are 2000 at the moment, I tried 0 and different other values, too. All had no effect.

I can start the makro again right away and go on anyway.

Regards,
Hans
