There is also no advantage in an installer.
It only let's you decide where you want the
profile, inside the K-Meleon main folder or
in your user directory.
If you want the latter, just rename profile.ini
to profile.ini-renamed before the first browser
start, or after renaming an existing profile
in the K-Meleon folder. But this would overwrite
your profile from the official K-Meleon.
Selecting a language in an installer would also be
useless, because there are no other languages
available here.

Hello, Fred, thank you very much for your great work.
Today I tried to access a page, and leaves a message saying that the page uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted Because it is self signed.
If you still wish to add an exception for this site, you can do so in your advanced encryption settings.
I tried it, but I have not heard, can you tell me how?

This is not yet implemented.
In the official version, you can enable that in the Preferences panel.
Privacy and Security/Encryption/Encrypted Transmission/Warnings,
by checking all the checkboxes.
A workaround in this variation could be going to the site
with the unvalid certificate via Google cache, typing into the URL bar:

209.85.135.132/search?q=cache:
and adding the URL at the end.
This will not work for newspapers and other sites that
Google does not cache.

This will show the page, if Google cached it.
