For Ubuntu before 11.04 version and other Linux builds, Conkeror uses xulrunner
For Ubuntu 11.04 and next versions, add the repositaty, and install it like this:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:xtaran/conkeror
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install conkeror conkeror-spawn-process-helper
Launch it :
conkeror
The first time it will try to use xulrunner, and finally uses firefox -app. After, no such tries, it will directly use firefox -app
To paste in a field, Ctrl-V doesn't work. Use Shift-Ins instead and it will paste correctly.

I didn't remember why I wrote this post, but I suppose it was about searching a solution to have no more to use MFC libraries, and make a real K-Meleon linux port.
It never has been developped, and I'm suprised that 7 years after, someone answers to this post...
Now, I rarely use K-Meleon under Linux, even I have made some tools to improve its use under Linux (using wine), and I use Palemoon Linux which is speedest than K-Meleon under wine and Firefox (the turtle ...)
